What I Am Doing

Now in Medium size. The Rape Seed flowers in the back field are so YELLOW so all the flowers that I'm painting are so NOT YELLOW.

On the theme of 'Dasies' again but with blue flowers that remind me of the 'Forget me Nots' in my Grandma's garden. 'Forget me Nots' lie close to the ground but I've let mine grow around the picture.

The first in a new series of pictures on the theme of dasies. These flowers are not anatomically correct but, to me, they are dasies. This is a 'large' picture but will be reproduced as a small one for medium one for sale. Watch out for that!

Often, I will paint one picture and then concentrate on one part of it. This gives the impression of magnification hence the title of this picture, 'Dasies Magnified'. Not very original I'm afraid. Perhaps I should dream up more dynamic titles!

Sometimes I will draw a series of pictures on a theme.

If I feel strongly about a subject, thoughts and images come quickly to mind and then I have to record them all.
So..... Here is my 2nd Summer Pots design. I will have to think of a title. I imagine 'Summer Pots all in a Row' will work.

Here is my coloured 'Summer Pots' picture.....More than a hint of summer!

I finished the sunflower picture but I'm still looking at it. I think it maybe a success.

When I sort my over-wintered flower pots, I try to imagine what they will be like in the summer if I manage to coax some life from them.

Spring and its new colours remind me of the sunflowers in France that turn their huge heads to the sky. I’m not sure if this picture will work but it’s in my head and I have to get it out there….it might just be version one!
